Governor Information
Welcome to our Governors’ section
The Board of Trustees are the responsible body for the governance at all Trust Schools and delegate certain responsibilities to Local Governance Committees under the Trust’s Scheme of Delegation. Governance at Harefield Primary School is undertaken by Hamwic Education Trust.
The local governing committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring the academy's success by providing strategic leadership and accountability. It is responsible for setting the school's vision and ethos, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The local governing committee works collaboratively with the executive leadership to implement clear strategies, monitor progress, and uphold high standards of education and governance.
Chair of Trustees is Gary Plummer gary.plummer@hamwic.org
The current committee members are:
Donna Fox Donna has worked in Education since 1990 and over the years has held various educational roles. She spent eighteen years as a headteacher, leading four schools during that period. Her wider school improvement work began when she took up the role of Principal Advisor for School Improvement, Governance and Community Learning in West Berkshire. Donna joined Hamwic so that she could focus on what she believes are the most important aspects of school improvement. Central to who she is as a leader, is the enabling of others to achieve more than they thought they could, so that our pupils have all they need to be able to excel.
